The Bulwarks 1 cent. high show a main deck of 55.5 cents in length.

The two steering paddles operate on upright crutches and cross-beams fixed to the stern before the poop deck; the paddles are tied to the crutches by means of cord.

DECORATION: Coloured yellow ochre; stem and stern pieces orpiment yellow and green; bows and stern lotus, feather and chequer pattern. 'Look-outs', screens have four panels of chequer pattern. Cabin: No window or doors; cavetto cornice and dado; the walls ornamented with chequer pattern; the roof white. Paddles: blades white, portside blade tipped with black; shafts orpiment yellow.
