193 Continued

193 c and d 11.0 7.3 <> Rough dark blue faience

Cups in the left hand kiosk (facing door). The two cups were like those c & d in the right kiosk, fallen over on their sides. They had originally been placed thus: c d <> the inverted cup c resting upon the lower cup d, the lower cup containing the following material: The material is a reddish-coloured resin

The cups were stuck together by means of a black cementing material: This is resin similar to the black varnish on the outside of the kiosks. The doors of the kiosks were closed with cord and sealed - one seal missing. The seal on the doors of the left hand kiosk bears the following device: (?) <> the golden Horus and uraeus - (only a portion of the impression is legible).

REMARKS: Cleaned with acetone sprayed after dusting with a brush. Feather cleaned with soap and warm water. Cups soaked in hot water.
