Upper part of quiver of plain coarse cloth. Sewn to this a band of the same quality cloth, with inwoven lines of blue(?) and green. Sewn to this again the centre part of the quiver which was of the same quality cloth with tapestry inwoven colours (see sketch). These were green, and a dark colour, probably originally blue. Below the centre panel a second band apparently like the upper one, but this largely hidden by the bandage. At the level of the bandage the third element in the quiver begins, a smaller inner casing of leather. This was attached to the cloth upper part of the quiver: overlap about 8. The bandage was probably sewn on here to strengthen
