514. WOODEN KIOSK CONTAINING SHAWABTI-FIGURES

POSITION: Leaning against W. wall, supported by some baskets and a wine-jar (see photo. No. 1144).

DIMENSIONS: 61.5 cents. high, 19 cents. wide, and 20 cents. deep.

DESCRIPTION: Wooden kiosk upon sledge, covered with black resin, rough workmanship. Roof (lid) made out of one piece of wood, knob on front of roof and kiosk for cord and seal. Seal intact, bears double impression of the jackal-like dog Anubis over 9 Nine Alien Foes.

CONTENTS: 10 Quartzite (crystalline sandstone) shawabti-figures (see 514, A to D). 24 Miniature agricultural implements of mixed kind (see 512, E).
