POSITION: Lying much broken under bedstead No. 466 in centre of chamber (see photo 1142).

DIMENSIONS: Max. L. 74.0; Max. W. 51.0 cents.

DESCRIPTION: Similar to No. 488, A, but different kind of hide covering field. The hide is similar to that on 545. Cf. Nos. 545 and 566. The pair to this shield is No. 488, A. This specimen is in very bad condition.
