POSITION: See No. 488, A.

DIMENSIONS: Too broken to ascertain correctly - but similar to Nos. 379, A and B.

DESCRIPTION: An open work shield, made of wood, covered with gesso and gilt. The device represents the king, wearing the <> crown, holding the crozier-sceptre and flagellum, collarette and long flowing robe, seated upon a throne which is supported by the <>-symbol with underneath the spirits <>. On either side of the king are the <> symbols and the <> flagella. In front of the king is a tablet bearing the following text: -

Underneath the <>-symbol, in the centre, a tablet bearing the following text: -

<>

This specimen is very badly broken.
