480 A LEDGE-HANDLED-BOWL (CALCITE)

POSITION: Lying on objects (508 & 509) towards centre of chamber - (see photos 1143, 1144).

DIMENSIONS: Max. H. 21.0 cents.; Max. diam. 34.0 cents.

DESCRIPTION: A ledge handled bowl wrought of semi-translucent calcite. Bowl squat and round; two ledge handles; slightly indicated flat foot; short neck and rim. The slightest trace of an erased inscription on shoulder of bowl.

REMARKS: Contents robbed - residue on bottom. Traces of a lid having been luted to opening. Bowl cracked.
