479 A GLOBULAR-BOWL (CALCITE)

POSITION: Resting on floor under baskets Nos. 478, 477, centre of chamber - (see photo 1143).

DIMENSIONS: Max. H. 20.8; Max. Diam. 27 cents.

DESCRIPTION: A globular bowl wrought in calcite. Bowl. Flattened globe; round bottom; short neck; widish lip. No ornamentation.

REMARKS: Contents robbed - residue on bottom. lip chipped bowl cracked Traces of a stopper having been luted with wax to mouth.
