459. WOODEN KIOSK CONTAINING SHAWABTI-FIGURES

POSITION: Near W. wall, southern end of chamber, partially resting upon box No. 370 (see photos Nos. 1141, 1143 and 1144).

DIMENSIONS: 62.5 cents. high, 24.5 cents wide, and 21 cents. deep.

DESCRIPTION: Wooden kiosk upon sledge, covered with black resin, rough workmanship, vaulted roof (lid) made out of one piece of wood, on front of roof knob & on front of kiosk knob for cord and seal - seal and cord missing, but traces of them having been once there.

CONTENTS: 20. Calcite shawabti-figures (see Nos. 459, A to G). 84. Blue glazed pottery miniature agricultural implements (see No. 459, H).
