421 A VASE (CALCITE)

POSITION: Lying on floor opposite doorway of chamber (see photo 1138).

DIMENSIONS: H. (broken); Max. diam. 22.4 cents.

DESCRIPTION: A flattened oviform vase with short neck and small rim, wrought in thin calcite.

REMARKS: Contents robbed. No residue. The neck has been broken away from the bowl: as the stopper is still in place and the linen binding intact it is obvious that the contents were extracted by breaking off the neck.
