POSITION: Lying on and among a mass of material in front of doorway of chamber (see photos 1137, 1139, 1140, and 1141). DIMENSIONS: Max. H. 78.5; H. of seal 20.5 cents.

DESCRIPTION: Buff pottery wine-jar; two loop handles; large clay seal covering mouth and neck. (See photo) Bears four large impressions of seal on the sides and one on the top. (See type N.) No impression over the re-sealing of the gas-hole. Bears docket in hieratic on shoulder - (see photo).

REMARKS: The seal is of a dark clay (Nile mud). Hard (?) residue inside.
