380. WOODEN KIOSK CONTAINING SHAWABTI-FIGURES

POSITION: On floor middle of S. end of chamber, leaning against box No. 370 (see photos Nos. 1136, 1149 and 1150).

DIMENSIONS: 61 cents. high, 19 cents. broad, 21.5 cents. deep.

DESCRIPTION: Wooden kiosk upon sledge, covered with black resin, of rough workmanship, vaulted roof (lid) made out of one block of wood, knob on end of roof and front of kiosk for cord and seal - cord and seal missing, but traces upon top of roof of it having once been sealed.

CONTENTS: 9 stone shawabti figures (see 380, A to G) packed in one upon the other, and 28 blue glazed pottery miniature agricultural implements (see 380, H).
