370, KK. STAVE OF BOW

A Self-bow made entirely of self wood (of ? kind ); covered with bark of (?) birch kind; the ends of 'limbs' at 'horns' with a dark red-brown bark (of cherry-like type) for 2 cents only. Length of stave (from horn to horn) 72 cents; W. at centre 1.5 cents. Section <>

Ornament: - On 'back' of limbs either side of 'grip' an oblong veneered of light and dark barks including the following texts: - <> String from 'belly' at centre 3.8 cents. (Note possibility of warping, etc.).
