open needlework)

J. A sleeved robe of fine plain linen, having auxiliary tapestry-woven fabric and open needlework ornament.

This garment, like the preceding one, was badly crumpled up and cast into the box. The fabric has suffered much but by being underneath the other robe it is in slightly better preservation.

It has been treated with duroprene dissolved in xylol.

The colours of the ornament (tapestry-woven) are difficult to discern exactly, but red, possibly green, blue, and possibly black, were present.
