SHIP NO. 336 - CONT.

(RIG CONT.) When the sail is taken in on this boat, it can be cast loose at the foot to spill the wind, then clewed up, and furled to the yard, and the yard then lowered. In the M.K., the yard had to be lowered with the sail still drawing.
