The mummy form of the King lies upon the bier stretched out at length; upon his head the linen NEMES-headdress; upon his forehead the uraeus (gilt); around his neck the USEKH-collar, with hawk head shoulder pieces; the hands, free from wrappings, grasp the emblems - the crozier-sceptre and flagellum - now missing (? taken by the thieves for the metal); down the centre of abdomen and legs a vertical text, and four transverse bands of text around body and legs - (see copy of texts attached).

On the left side is a figure of the Ba-bird protecting the mummy form with its left wing; on the right side is a figure of a falcon protecting the mummy form with its right wing.

The low bed-shaped bier is of lion form with fore and hind legs; on the right and left sides and foot end a hieroglyphic text (see copy attached).
