Beside the third coffin (320, B), also wrapped in a piece of linen, a solid gold statuette of the King Amenhetep III, suspended upon a gold chain ending with linen cords having each a tassel. Around the neck of this squatting gold figure, a minute bead necklace, the string of which decayed. The figure squats upon a thin gold pedestal; wears the <> crown, with uraeus; no collar; holds in the right hand the crozier-sceptre and flagellum, the arm flexed; the left hand upon his knee; wears the shendyt-garment with sporran in front; body, arms, and lower part of legs bare; has a suspension loop at the back of the neck. Max. H. 5.4 cents. L. of suspension chain 54 cents, and 3 m/ms in diam., end in linen tasselled cords for fastening at the back of the neck.
