318 KIOSK (CONTAINING SHAWABTI FIGURES)

POSITION: - N.E. corner of chamber (East wall); standing on ground behind 316; knobs facing west.

DIMENSIONS: - Max. H. 61.5; W. 25 x 21.5 cents. Sledge 42 x 28.5 cents. base.

DESCRIPTION: - Made of wood; coarse work; covered with black resin; vaulted top (lid) carved out of one block of wood; knob on top and front, tied with cord and sealed - for type of seal employed - see Nos. 282 and 302.

CONTENTS: - 3 Shawabti figures - see 318, A, B and C. (No implements)

REMARKS: - Cleaned with damp sponge. Treated with solution of cellulose acetate in acetone
