299, A. FIGURE OF THE GOD GEB.

Covered with linen tied at neck. Wreath around neck (see note P. E. N.) Max. H. (including pedestal) 57.8, pedestal, 21.6 x 11.5 x 5.5 cms. Figure of the god carved of wood, gesso-gilt, wears the Usekh-collar, eyes inlaid obsidian, bronze and opaque white calcite, beard ebony. Pedestal varnished with black resin, and inscribed in yellow paint: <>
