MATERIALS OF WHICH COMPOSED

Wood covered with gesso-gilt; base varnished black Skull cap: Faience (dark blue glaze) Eyes: Crystalline limestone (eyeball) and (?) obsidian (pupil) Eyelids and Eyebrows: dark blue glass. Beard: Bronze or copper Staff: Bronze or copper inlaid with gold.

TREATMENT: Cleaned with warm water and ammonia.
