POSITION: The third box, from west-end, of row of five boxes (267-272), placed N. side of E. and West axis of chamber. Knobs to south. DIMENS: L. 51.4, W. 25.6, H. (including lid) 45.6, cms.

REMARKS: Remains of broken seal and string lying upon it. (See 283)

CONTENTS: 270, A. A Pair of sandal-like slippers of leather embellished with gold and bead work. L. 28, cms, W. of sole 9.5 cms. approx. (see photo) 270, B. Lid of box 269, A found in 269. 270, C. A stone anklet (?schist) of 10.3 cms. diam. (exterior) 6.2 cms, diam. (interior)
