However, the impression of the principal seal is sufficiently good to identify the three rows of three captives, beneath the King's cartouche and Anubis animal, as definitely Asiatic (cf seal impressions E and I). The impression of the counter-seal, unfortunately, is not so good. Here the three rows of their alien captives beneath the Anubis animal appear at first sight to be all African, but careful examination under comparison with similar seal impressions, some possibly from the same seal, leaves little doubt that they represent both Asiatic and African captives. Nevertheless, with rare exception, it is here almost impossible to tell their exact order. Possibly the first five captives are Asiatic and the following four African. (cf. - Seal impressions H, J and L.)
