1. Position Between outermost and second shrines: standing up in N.E. corner.

2. Dimensions Max. L. circ. 158; considerably warped. Diam. at top 1.6 Swells immediately to 2.2. " bottom tapers to 1.6. Diam. of knob 6.3. Length of knob 3.8.

3. Description Wooden staff covered with gesso and overlaid with gold. This gold overlay covers junction of stick and knob. At 20 below bottom of knob a strip of cloth 2 mm. wide had been twisted tightly twice round & tied.

4. Treatment Cleaned with ammonia & water: waxed.
