216 Pair of straight sticks ornamented with gold.

1. Position Between outermost & 2nd shrine: standing up in N.E. corner.

2. Dimensions L. (present) 158.4. Warped so that in centre there was a measurement of 4.6 from straight to curve. Diam. circ. 2. Sticks very irregular.

3. Description Sticks covered with thin gesso & overlaid with gold. Coarse sticks with many knots and irregularities. They were fastened together with thin torn strips of linen at top, 36.5 down, 81 down and 119 down.

4. Treatment. Cleaned with ammonia and water: waxed.
