140. Folding(?) stool of ebony, ivory, gold & leather.

1. Position Standing upon 139.

2. Dimensions W.42 Height & depth ? W between inner legs at top 15; between outer legs at bottom 19.3

3. Description Arrangement & decoration as in 139, with following minor differences - Leather was black instead of red. Leather bound to leg just below seat by strips of hide. No pins fastening ducks' heads to cross bars. Ivory caps at ends of upper cross bars smaller, only 2 x 1.8. Seat slats 42 x 7.3 x .4. Curve in centre 10.6 from horizontal. Bottom cross bars 38 long: 2.2 in diam.
