130 Alabaster one handled jug-shaped vase

Dimensions. H. 26.5; Max. diam. of bowl, 16.2; Diam. of lip, 11.0; Diam. of foot, 8.0.

Description. A roughly made alabaster jug-vase, with one handle, long neck, roll lip, and short foot.

Content. Nil.

Remarks Whole in bowl roughly cemented up. No lid. No inscriptions. Treatment: wash in cold water to remove yellowish film deposit. Overlaying this vase was a mass of decayed leather work from chariot harness.
