119. Reed Tray with Partitions. See 26

1. Position South end of chamber, under Chariot 120 and Canopy 123.

2. Dimensions Diam. 48. Height max 8.5. For details see scale drawing on next card.

3. Description Reed tray, built up by successive rings of bundles of reed fibre, joined by a weave of reed strip. Partitions similar, with an extra vertical binding at all the right angle joints. Extra ring fastened to bottom as stand. At one side, just below rim, a length, about 21 long, of fibre cord, .2 in diam. This probably to attach a lid.

The tray noted as such in No. 26 was probably the lid to this tray.

Treatment Removed adherent disintegrated leather with fingers. Brushed with dry brush.
