(k) Cont. Collar Main part consisted of five rows of squares of faience and carnelian on a gold backing. On top of each square a projection of gold .2 in width soldered on to hide thread rings. Each square fluted with four corrugations. Two thread rings soldered on at top & bottom. 1st row. Green faience .8 x .7 2nd row. Blue " 1. x .8 3rd row. Carnelian 1. x .9 4th row Green faience 1. x 1. 5th row Blue " 1.1 x 1.1 These all exclude gold, measurement. This row had gold projections top & bottom.

Below main part a row of drops <> of cloisonné work. Actual drops green faience above, blue faience middle, & car round below. Angled pieces carnelian or agate. These vary in width a good deal, a few taking one drop only.
