69 reed arrows. All broken, so original length ? Present average length 70-75 cm. 4 featherings on each arrow. These started 2 cm. from notch end, & continued down 18.5 cm. Treated feathers with celluloid solution. In every case the reeds were snapped clean off near bottom, presumably by the plunderers for metal. In the passage of the tomb (12) a bronze arrow head was found, with part of reed still attached. This probably came from this set of arrows. It consisted of a flat grooved blade 10 cm long x 1.1 at its widest.
