DESCRIPTION:
A head rest in the form of a miniature folding-stool, made of
ivory, stained light red, green, and dark brown black.
The pillow of the head-rest comprises three strings of seven
small cubes of ivory stained black and red alternatively of <>-shape. These are attached to the ends of the pillow form of solid
pieces of ivory, of lotiform, having the face of the god Bes
carved on the outer surface, while the inner surface represents a
lotus bloom. Into these lotiform pieces are fixed the four
folding legs which terminate in ducks' heads, and grasp in the
beaks a round cross-bar, thus:
