1 white 3 black = 'Tab' = 1 called 'Weled' (plays again). 2 " 2 " = 'Itneyn' = 2 " 'Bint' (stops) 3 " 1 " = 'Telateh' = 3 " 'Bint' (stops) 4 " ----- = 'Arba'ah' = 4 " 'Wezeer' (plays again). ----- 4 " = 'Sitteh' = 6 " 'Sultan'. (plays again).

Tab, Arba'ah, or 'Sitteh', throws again; but itneyn, or telateh, stops, and it is then the turn of the opponent.

Neither party can play until he has first thrown tab: the opponents throw alternately until tab occurs.

Neither party can remove a 'kelb' (playing piece) from its original place but by throwing Tab before each such removal - when a kelb at once becomes a 'Muslim' and can circulate in the 'beyts' (squares)
