MATERIALS OF WHICH COMPOSED

Wood covered with thin gold foil now much tarnished: C. Eyebrow, eyelids and beard of figure are glass originally dark blue, now in part faded. Eye is crystalline limestone (eyeball) and obsidian (?) (pupil). The fasteners at back are silver. D. "Reeds of Years" are of copper (or bronze) partly gilt. Cartouches at back are of faience with gold letters. TREATMENT: Cleaned with warm water and ammonia.
