269, M. AMETHYST SCARAB BRACELET

Oval centre-piece = Max. L. 4.5, Max. W. 4.1, cms. Wrist-band = L.13.5, W. 1.9, cms.

OVAL CENTRE PIECE: An amethyst scarab bearing on its base <> set in an oval plaque of granulated gold work, overlaid with pendant solar uraei richly inlaid, and roll border also inlaid with natural stones. The under surface of plain gold is inscribed <> on either side of the opening for the scarab bezel.

WRIST-BAND = Is made up of four rows of spherical beads, scarabs, wzat-eyes and mimosa seeds. The gold scarabs, of open work, bear the prenomen of the king.
