<> on the ends of the arms of the canh the cartouches of the King thus: <> on either side of the stem: <> on the bottom of the stem: the two cartouches of the king as above on the under surface, also embossed upon the sheet gold: - centre of loop: the two cartouches of the king with pendent uraei on either side, surmounted with four solar discs, the whole resting upon a lotus flower. Note The interior of this mirror case (both of the lid and of the box) is lined with thin sheet silver (a sort of thick silver-paper), which lends one to suppose that the mirror it contained was of silver.
