261, L. THE CENTRE PIECE (CLASP) OF A GIRDLE OR BRACELET

The device comprises the KHEPER beetle supporting with its
forelegs the word symbol Heh "Eternity" and in its posterior legs
the NEB sign "Lord". On either side, attached by pin-hinges, is
the solar uraeus with pendant Shen symbols.

This clasp on the right side is pierced 28 holes (?) to receive a
corresponding number of threads, and on the left with on 7 holes
for similar purpose.

The remainder of this ornament has evidently been stolen by the
metal-thieves.
