outside legs of the R. and L. scarabs cling. The underpart of the scarabs (plain gold) and free legs are finely modelled, the articulation of both legs, thorax and segments of abdomen are finely marked. The nb signs have their details chased. The horizontal bar, in place of the marguerites on the upper surface, has contiguous circles of dark blue glass with gold boss centres. Attached to the R. and L. solar disks are spacer-fastenings for the bead straps by which the pectoral is suspended: the straps comprise five strings of beads on each side of the following kind and order: -
