Each top panel consisted of 13 alternate red & black wood (?) ebony sticks let in in openwork.
Surrounding the panel veneer consisting of tiny strips of ebony & ivory - from outside ebony,
ivory, ebony, ivory. Some of them missing.
Cross battens near ends on inside.

3. Description
Stool of hard red wood.

4. Remarks
Resting on this in tomb, remains of a sandal (see next card)

5. Treatment
Damp sponge. Loose pieces replaced with casein adhesive.
