31 ankhs, 29 dads, and 42 cartouches. The cartouches were certainly
alternate with other plaques which would mean that 16-18 were missing. Each
plaque occupies about 2 cm. of space, which would make the length of the
garment about 120, + length of pendants.
Further, there are 1268 gold rosettes. Each of these occupies about 3 x 3
cm. i.total area occupied = about 11400 cm. If length is taken at 120,
width would therefore be 95.
Approx. size then would be 120 + pendants x about 90. This not an unusual
proportion for a shirt.
Remains upper border. Of the plaques which probably belonged to this there
are 13 ankhs & 13 complete dads & a broken one. These, spaced as in side
borders, would only make a width of about 48, not much more than half the
width required. Not likely that all the gold plaques that went with these
