Ring proper <> in section., .7 wide at bottom, .4 at top. Inside meas. 2.2 wide x 1.6 deep: slightly rounded under bezel. Centre element of ring ends at bezel in a lotus: side elements from spirals. Below bound with gold wire a distance of 5 mm. Bezel a solid piece soldered to ring proper at lotus and spiral. Under bezel, covering whole bottom, incised <>. On side of bezel one side incised <> " other side <>

These very roughly incised; put on before bezel was soldered to ring, as signs go under latter.

Meas. of bezel 2.6 x 1.2 Bezel hollow(?) with a thin sheet of gold(?) or possibly silver fastened across top. Fastened to this by pins or rivets a separate piece of gold in openwork, representing a sun barque, with two adoring cynocephali. Outer rim of bezel nicked in cord pattern.

Treatment Cleaned with water alone.
