Description
Tall narrow wooden shrine covered with a black material (see note by A.L.).
Has a sloping roof with curved front, two folding doors surmounted by
cornice shaped lintel; the whole shrine upon a wooden sled of common
dynastic type (see photo). On the folding doors are (two) knob shaped
handles, around which cord was tied to close them. Upon the cord tie
(decayed and fallen) was a clay seal (38a) adhering to the doors themselves
and bearing the "Anubis over nine prisoners" device (see photos).
