1. Position

On W. side of the doorway to the sepulchral chamber. Original Position.

3. Description

Wood, completely covered with gesso and black resin.

Flesh parts are of black resin, directly on the wood, except that in places gesso has been added to round off corners.

On remainder of statue - head-dress, kilt, collar and armlets - there was first a thickness of cloth glued to the wood: then a layer of gesso, and finally an overlay of gold.
