1. Ring of black and white glass.

2. Piece of a second ring (pair to this) taken from floor rubbish and placed with it. A second piece fitting to this was found just outside the door of the chamber.

There had been a thin metal core to this ring.

Treatment:

a (1) Cleaned with hydrochloric acid and well washed with water.

a (2) Washed with water: repaired with celluloid cement.
