Board of wood covered with gesso and painted blue. L. 36.8, W. 27. Thickness 4 mm. 1.8 from centre of one end a hole 4 mm. in diam. for suspension: In this a piece of cord 1.5 mm. in diam. still remaining.

Purpose? May have been a tally-board, for making a list of the garments.

Treatment: Cleaned with dry brush and afterwards sprayed with solution of celluloid in acetone.

Similar board. L. 36.5: W. 26.5 Similar hole in end, but no cord remaining.

These two boards rested on the bottom of the box.
