covered with bark either natural or applied. Fastened to this there
were gold hollow caps, 7 mm. in diam. at intervals of 1.3 cm.

back in front to strengthen.
Decoration of flower design embossed in leather, with gold caps as
flowers.
Border pattern <> in leather. 
Decoration of side similar. Lower part bound with strips of bark or
papyrus.
Treatment: Treated remains of tops with solution of Canada balsam in xylene
by means of a pipette.
