bosses of yellow gold. Background showing blue paste.
Fastened to these side pieces on either side of (1) projecting ducks'
heads of gold with black inlay(?) decoration.
Sides and heel of embossed leather with gold decoration (see drawing
next sheet). The outside of the gold <> in this decoration had 2
thread holes in each to attach to leather. Half rosettes used in
extreme angles. Along top edge of these a string of disc beads - gold
at intervals of 2 or 3 irregularly, with red, green and blue?
between.
Over instep a band of tiny beads, fastened to side flaps and coming
outside toe thong. Consisted of six strings.
Treatment.
To remains of sides & heels applied solution of Canada balsam
in xylol by means of pipette.
