elaborately decorated with beadwork and gold sequins.
This at the top covered the whole of the south half of the box, but
underneath it spread out and underlay some of the other objects.
Border band of tiny glass disc beads, of white, green, yellow, red & blue,
arranged in patterns & threaded criss-cross. See later cards.

The body of the garment was covered with bead & sequins decoration in this
pattern. The thread ran both ways, and not, as would appear from a casual
glance at the robe, one way only. Thus alternate squares, which were

G = convex gold sequins, 1cm in diam, 2mm. high. These were of thin sheet
gold, beaten in a die.
