405 GLOBULAR VASE (CALCITE)

POSITION: Resting some baskets centre of chamber opposite doorway - (see photos 1138, 1139, 1140, 1141)

DIMENSIONS: Max. H. 30.0; Max. diam of bowl, 32.5, cents.

DESCRIPTION: A globular-shaped vase with neck and broad lip wrought of semi-translucent calcite. Globular bowl; flattened at bottom; cylindrical neck; wide lip. Bears traces of an erased inscription on bowl (see note attached) seemingly given the names of two kings

REMARKS: Traces of a stopper having been luted in opening of mouth. Contents robbed: slight residue at bottom.

Lid found in Antechamber No. 36, b.
