8. A rough wooden framework in the form of Osiris, hollowed out and neatly covered with
linen, the troughs of which were filled in with silt from the river bed (i.e., clean quartz sand),
in which a cereal grain has germinated to the height of about 3 inches. (For (?) grain, see

REMARKS:
Woodwork very coarse.
Linen showed various shades of colour, from light brown to very dark brown, owing to
different qualities of texture - the finer fabric the darker the colour.
The bindings were mostly commenced from the feet upwards.
