POSITION:
Resting upon the model granary (No. 277); bows towards west; some of the cords of the
rigging broken.

DESCRIPTION:
Representing (?) a carvel-built ship, of reed float form; stem pointed; stern of fish-tail
shape.
Made out of a log of wood shaped and planed with an adze.
It represents a boat somewhat of the reef float form; the stem and stern ends rising in a
curved line; with bulwark 1.5 cents. high, showing a main deck space 61.5 cents long;
overhanging forecastle and poop decks, upon which are pavilions, and on the poop deck the
steering paddles; central cabin on deck with (aft) staircase leading up to roof of cabin.
No thwarts or cross-ties are shown.
