269, A. (6) A PAIR OF EAR-RINGS

Max. diam. 2.5, cms.

A pair of ear-rings in the form of studs.

The neck portion, which passed through the pierced lobe of the ear, comprises two cylinders inserted one within the other - the outer cylinder annulated and 0.65, cms. in diam.

Front: a gold boss (diam. 2.5, cms.) incrusted and having two uraei fixed in the centre.

Back: a plain plate gold disc (diam. 2.25, cms.) with calcite centre.
